Welcome to South Central Wisconsin's leading training series for aspiring and operating real estate investors.  If you are someone curious about real estate investing or someone already working in real estate investing, this is the place to be.  Participants will fully understand the answers to these three basic questions about real estate investing:

Is real estate investing right for me?
How do I get started in real estate investing?
What do I need to do to be successful in real estate investing?

If you're already working as a real estate investor, you may be struggling with challenges in acquiring properties, finding funding or contractors, or other aspects of doing your business.  You can get answers, suggestions, and help in the REI Blueprint from expert real estate investor-trainers.

What Gets Covered


Perhaps the most widely-recognized activity in real estate investing, thanks to cable channels such as HGTV and DIY, this is the process of marketing for, acquiring, rehabbing, and re-selling properties.

Rehabbing forms the basis for all of the REI practices because it covers all of the bases that you need to successfully purchase and repair properties.  We spend a lot of time breaking down and thoroughly explaining this process from start to finish.


Very similar to rehab, wholesaling is the process of acquiring properties and then either selling or assigning them to another rehabber for a wholesale fee.  Wholesaling is a valuable modality because it starts with the most difficult part of property acquisition, and that is marketing for, and finding properties.

We'll show you what works and what doesn't work, and how to maximize your profit potential wholesaling properties to other investor-rehabbers.


We consider rental properties to be the same as rehabbing, only with a different exit strategy.  In the case of rentals, you don't sell the property at the end; you hold onto it and use it as a rental income property.

We will show you that the best, highest-performing properties are usually those that are distressed and need significant repairs, so your asset acquisition costs are usually lower.  We'll also discuss both free-and-clear and leveraged holdings.

History of the REI Blueprint

Way back in 2012 when the Madison REIA was created, we formulated three pillars that would guide the development and operation of the organization - Networking, Education, and Life.  The Networking pillar represents our commitment to creating venues for the exchange of ideas between and among members.  The Education pillar represents our commitment to creating events, programs, and workshops that further the practice of real estate investing for our members.  And the Life pillar represents our commitment to helping our members achieve the kind of life for themselves and their familiies that they want.
